COVID-19 pushed commercial industries and government agencies alike to adopt cloud, remote work and other key enabling technologies — but what of higher education? What does all this change mean for the future of learning — for those who teach and those who manage campus technologies?
To better understand digital trends in education brought about by the pandemic, we polled 437 senior IT leaders and teaching staff at leading universities and research institutions in Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden during Q4 2021. We were particularly interested in the technology and teaching changes they experienced, and whether educators view these changes as temporary or permanent. We also asked about trending innovations, and the impact of change educators see on themselves, their students and their classrooms in the immediate future. The result of these findings are here in our first-ever Rackspace Technology Post-Pandemic Campus Tech research report.
